You need to download Perl for Win32 from http://www.activeware.com or by clicking the download button shown above. Install it on your Windows 95 or Windows NT system. The installation is very simple and if you need more information, you can go through the Newbie FAQ.
You can try small programs which will run on command Prompt. You will find these under the EXAMPLES button above.
What to do third?
Now that you are familiar with Perl command line programs, it is
time for you to play with Net programming with Perl. To acheive this you
need a WEB server. Contact your ISP or any domain hosting service for information on obtaining server space that allows CGI scripts.
